You did great! She definitely shot Ryan in a fit of rage, and she could of called her mom for either reason you said but honestly she seemed smart enough to come up with her own story but as I say that, the story she gave police was stupid. Like she had never heard of forensic science. Anyway I'm glad she got the harsher sentence because the thought of her being out in 8 years blew my mind. Getting out in 20 I still to lenient. I feeL like you do when it comes to that. Black and white she killed him because she wasn't getting her way and she should lose her freedom for it. That's me being nice. I do think think he chose the wrong person to play head games with but should not have had to die for it, and with everything she put him through before killing him he might have wanted a little payback as well, I would.
First thing comes immediately to mind, is that she was waiting for him to die I think he may have still been alive even after being shot that many times and that the shot in his face was probably the last shot which made it the fatal shot

She snapped and emotion took over and she's thinking she's too good to be touched and just trying to do her best to get the least. Whatever. I remember this. The interrogation room camera footage was just bizarre. And I don't think this was self defense at all simply by her behavior in the interrogation room. I my eyes nearly popped out of my head when she commented on giving him the nose job he wanted. To me, such an off-color comment at at a time like that screams guilty.
