Sheri Rose Shepherd Death – Former Mrs America Sheri-Rose Shepherd who inspired so many with her message of hope and positivity died yesterday. Speaker and author Sheri Rose Shepherd passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was 61 years old at the time of her passing. Sheri Rose Shepherd was announced dead yesterday, Wednesday, the 19th of April 2023.
She was diagnosed with Stage 4 terminal cancer and given 6-8 weeks to live. Sheri’s Facebook page became her sanctuary sharing her positive message of encouragement even through the darkest times of her treatment. Her loyal fans shared messages of encouragement & thanks to her & her team of supporters reciprocated. Her graciousness, kindness and appreciation of life will never be forgotten.
Sheri Rose Shepherd’s Early Life
Sheri had trouble with her body and her confidence from a young age. During her Junior year of high school, people in her group made fun of her for being overweight. The prom king even asked if she was an abandoned whale who could come to their beach party. She thought that was the last time anyone would ever call her a whale. When she started her senior year, she had lost weight and joined a beauty pageant where she won.

After she graduated from high school, she kept going to beauty pageants until she was in the national competition for Miss USA. She started having health problems two weeks before the show. Sheri was stuck in the struggle of having an eating problem and couldn’t get out.
Christianity
She met a couple of missionaries when she was 24. They helped her through some of her hardest times. When she was depressed and felt like killing herself, she chose to give Christianity a try.
Career
Sheri was a published author and a pastor who teaches her Bible classes about the gospel. She tells her story to other people a lot. Sheri has a lot of fans on Facebook and other social media sites. She talks to her fans often on Facebook Live.
