Is it really blasphemy if it is just a costume from the imaginations of people? The Sto. Niño supposedly represents the child Jesus but he never did wore such a thing or looked as such. So why is it blasphemy if it did not exist in the first place? What is blasphemous is so called "Christians" creating an idol/graven image, declaring it "sacred", worshipping it or praying to it, even though they were instructed not to do so.
