  1. One hairstyle that I always admired but I just know isn't for me is long bohemian locs
with little accessories like beads and shells,
    think Lisa Bonnet.
Ladies who pull that off always look so feminine, ethereal, regal even
    but natural and effortless 😍

  2. For the longest time I just wanted my hair to be as long as possible and as blond as possible 🙈 I realized that the length and color don’t really matter. I focus on the Health of my hair, a good hair cut and great everyday hair styling now ☺️ that just transformed everything for me, I’ve never felt prettier in my natural hair color and I finally know how to properly care for and style my hair 🥰 blowouts, updos, different curls 👸

  3. Are you a soft dramatic in the kibbe system? I’m a soft natural, which has the same width in the face.. I feel you when you say you need to soften your hair to suit your face 😂

  4. After my second baby, my hair fell out in clumps and then my baby had this need to grab onto my hair in the back and I had a baldish patch. I cut it short and the comments have been positive but some were very hurtful. So thank you for this video.

  5. I wish you somehow included women that cover their whole hair for religious purposes too. I know from your past videos that you once or more did but here it would have fitted too. Mary was also covering her hair and she is an extrem feminine image. But I also see that this video is solely about hairstyles and advices, but the veil that women of different cultures and religions wear 'is' what functions as hair for them to bring feminine tones to their head. <3

  6. What a great video Caitlin on Feminine hair. I think you are so brave Caitlin and courageous. May Jesus Christ Bless You Richly! More videos and Vlogs please! So happy to be part of the Feminine Family. ❤

  7. I have a big nose and my mum always told me wavy/curly hair looks prettier because it adds softness 🙂 meanwhile I hated it and wanted that super straight hair that was in fashion ca. 2013

  8. Does anyone have advice for my frizzy wavy hair that's extremely prone to form knots? It's frustrating because I can hardly wear any hairstyles other than braids let alone do anything with my hair down for more than an hour.

  9. I feel feminine dying my (natural blonde) curly hair black. I did have a pixie cut while going through severe alopecia. I love braids and tendrils, and my hair is nearly ling enough for that! My husband likes plain styling, all natural. I've gotten into accessories recently.

  10. To me healthy hair is the biggest feminine thing, no matter long of short, if you have damage hair it doesn't look clean and soft and fruitful. if you have damage hair just cut them off and grow them back. Like you said effort looks feminine. my mom is a hair stylist and she always told me, short and healthy is better than long and damaged.

  11. I’m coming from a whole different religion here, I’m actually polytheistic but femininity for women in my religion is SO important and I’m so thankful that you’re helping me on my journey. I never really had a feminine figure in my life and even though I don’t know you personally I’m considering you that figure because I need it right now. Ty.

  12. BIG WAVES for sure! The hair waver is so easy and quick for someone like me who has a long, kinda plain-looking face and finds it overwhelming to spend a lot of time and work on my appearance; it just makes you look a tiny bit more feminine and dressy. I wish I would’ve realized it a long time ago. I do it all the time so I should be using heat protection spray, but I usually don’t because my hair is thriving and doesn’t seem to look damaged 😅

  13. Well I think Kibbe's body types is a great way to find out clothes, make up and hairstyles that are the most flattering on you! A lot of this content is on youtube and pinterest, and I encourage every girl and women to give this a try!

  14. Hey, you probably already know this channel, but the name is Aly Art and she is wonderful. She speaks about how to work with your features, body type, skin undertone and chosen style to look your best. I just love how she embraces femininity and the different ways it can exist, always preserving that essence.. It's just this video reminded me a little bit of that; the working with what you have been given and instead of forcing a look on yourself, just figuring out what works best for you and brings out that beauty in you. Thanks for the video, I found it very helpful.

  15. I’m desperate for hair advice as a round/wide faced girl!

All my life I’ve always been just a little heavier (weight wise) than I wanted to be. 15-20 lbs, around there. As a 5’5 woman, I did not carry it well and I felt unfeminine. With having a very round, wide face, hairstyles were a challenge — I have thick, textured, wavy fine hair, so I’ve always just kept it long.

However I have recently reached my goal weight and my face has slimmed but it is still, in structure, round and wide. I also have long limbs and I was once told “never cut your hair short.” I naturally prefer longer hair but I never really learned how to style it so it continues to be a poofy, frizzy mess.

I’m soon scheduling a hair appointment and I’ve been considering taking my hair shorter (at least to chest) but now that I’m thinking about it, with what you mentioned regarding long limbs, and the fact that my face is wide/round, perhaps staying long and just getting a better cut would be a good choice?

  16. Hello Caitlin,

Thank you for this high quality content, the thorough research is admirable!

Length is a big deal, in general, when it comes to kinky hair so it is great to have a reminder that femininity is not about having long hair 🫶🏾✨

  17. 16:30 I needed this! I keep saving pictures of women with waist-long hair even though I know for sure that it doesn't suit me (I start looking haggard after my hair grows past my shoulders 😅). I've been trying to be more conscious of this, and my collection of women with pretty pixie cuts and bobs (the 2 hairstyles that suit me best) has been growing ever so slowly. Haha!

  18. Hi Caitlin! Do you think we need to wear our hair in protective styles to keep it healthy? I always wear hair down but I know some say braids will help keep my hair from falling but I just find it so unflattering. And I notice you still have long healthy hair without putting it up

  19. Thank you! I like your suggestion about styling. 4 years ago I had my hair cut above my ears, and I'm a long hair girl. I did this because I thiought I had too many split ends. I pin curled my hair and wore a circle pin barrette to get over this period. I like how you remarked how you can have long or short hair and still look feminine. I like your comment about face shape too, or just how a person feels more comfortable. I have a square jaw and wide face. Even though I have fine hair I want it long.
