Miss Earth is an annual international major beauty pageant based in the Philippines that advocates for environmental awareness, conservation and social responsibility. Along with Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss International, it is one of the Big Four international beauty pageants.

Since 2002, the pageant has been mostly held in the Philippines with live international telecasts in more than 80 countries via Fox Life and The Filipino Channel.

Reigning titleholders dedicate their year to promoting specific projects, often addressing issues concerning the environment and other global challenges[7][8] through school tours, tree planting activities, street campaigns, cleanups, speaking engagements, shopping mall tours, media guesting, environmental fairs, storytelling programs to children, eco-fashion shows, and other environmentally oriented activities.

The Miss Earth Foundation works with the environmental departments and ministries of participating countries, various private sectors and corporations, as well as the World Wildlife Foundation (WWF)

The current Miss Earth is Destiny Wagner of Belize who, due to the world-wide bug, was crowned virtually on November 21, 2021.

  1. HELLO MISS EARTH OFFICALS: there is a vlog informing that MISS SOMALIA 2022 is withdrawing from MISS EARTH….can you help MISS SOMALIA continue with her journey…. show to the world that you are not only after of the money but the benefit of every candidate who has their willingness to joined this BEAUTY PAGEANT for a cause… show the world that MISS EARTH is totally different from others.

  2. 2018 – i dont think Celeste was left out due to Philippines winning 4 crowns already, she flunked her hashtag round
2017 – Karen deserved her win she's amazing with her q&a
2014-2015 Both deserving of back to back. Angelia won in Austria and most Austrian judges voted for her.

I think you should watch those to judge yourself

  3. I don't see anything wrong with holding the pageant in the Philippines. MU is always held in the US. Much more on MW which is mostly in the UK. So is MI, which is 98% done in Japan. US has 7 MU, Britain has 4 Miss World, Though Japan has only one MI crown in 2012, mostly, their candidates ends up in finals, which seldom to happened in most international pageants. Even Albania is always placing at Miss Globe but very seldom to other pageants too. And so other pageants too.

  4. Thanks for featuring Miss Earth Rina! I love this content. Miss Earth is my 2nd favorite pageant because of its relevance, prepageant activities, quality of girls and advocacy. And unlike other pageants, Miss Earth has credible set of judges that select the finalists and winners and a tabulating firm to verify the results!

And yes, Miss Earth has crowned 4 Filipinas, but these four Filipinas are all competitive and they were the best in the final Q and A. And regarding Celeste not making to the top 4, it wasn't because she was intentionally cut out from the competition. She didn't do well in the interview hashtag round. The top 4 deserved their placements and Celeste was too young and raw at that time. Now, she is very much ready to conquer the Universe.

My favorite winners so far are Lindsey, Teresa, Angelia, and Phuong Khanh. 💚

  5. Where did you get this info? Celeste is very far from winning then since Miss Earth is looking for great speakers, and Celeste wasn't able to fully express her thoughts because she wasn't fluent in English at the time. Hence, she learned a lesson from that and realy worked hard on her English proficiency and communication skills, and her improvement is tremendous.

Remember that Miss Earth is looking for GREAT SPEAKERS because the winner will be doing a lot of talks and seminards during her reign. If Miss SA handles Miss Earth South Africa, I bet you that South African queens will dominate the contest since Miss SA winners are good speakers.

  6. Karen Ibasco was very deserving that year. Please go and react to Miss Earth 2017, and you'll see that there is no other way but to crown her. Otherwise, it will even look like a cooking show if they don't crown such a deserving winner. And Karen up to this day, has lived up to her title.

  7. Your videos are always great and intersting. 👍
I wish your backdrop is not black colour. It seems like your hair just disappear into the background in every videos. Just my observation 🙏

  8. Trivia: in 2001 they started the pageant outside the country because of the latter part of the war in the southern part of the country that time. But there was an interview that Ma'am Lorraine, she's saying they will all fly to the Philippines. That was a brave move that time.

  9. My miss earth winners in an alter universe
    2004 martinique tied with brazil
    2008 tanzania
    2009 philippines
    2013 austria
    2014 mongolia
    2016 russia
Miss earth 2012 was the most unexpected result. Miss czech the winner, did not really answer the final question.
Miss thailand 2017 was actually the favorite to win but she faltered in the hastag round, she did not advance to top 4.
Miss philippines 2018 didnt actually do well during the hastag round hence she did not advance to the top4

  10. ALL the queens from the Philippines were the BEST SPEAKERS for the environment… they overshadowed everyone in the Q&A. I am looking forward for another girl from Africa to win. Knowledge of environmental issues is vital in this pageant.

  11. Nothing sus about Celeste not winning that year. She was not made into a sacrificial lamb or anything that you were implying. She seriously did not have the communication skills to win the crown. If you watched, you'd have seen her totally bomb the interview. Her beauty got her to top 8 but her fluency kept her from advancing further. This is why this time around she is serious and is having q&a training with her team every single day. I dunno why you are subscribing to the crooked philosophy of the haters. The only reason that they do this is to get back at Filipinos for calling a certain pageant a cooking show which is basically what you are also implying here. But Filipinos are NOT the only people sus about that particular pageant anymore so *whistles*.

    Edit:
To add, Philippines won the back to back when the competition was in Austria. Are you implying that the Filipino owners somehow bought off the Austrians? They might have something to say about that. Also, the Philippines were winning titles in many other pageants regardless of which nation the respective owners are a citizen of. The girls were just very well trained. That is why they won. If you don't like the fact that Philippines has more queens than most then work harder! Help your contestants get further! Only jealous girls would resort to tearing down the competition.
