  1. I’ve seen a two year old with albinism with bright pink eyes and it did scare me for a second when she looked me in the eyes, I quickly had to switch gears and go “what pretty eyes you have sweetheart “ because I didn’t want her to feel bad

  2. I have long felt and said that using words like that is wrong because it makes the person the poster child for whatever it is. My children WERE adopted not ARE adopted because adoption is the legal process. I HAVE dyslexia, I'm not dyslexic. My husband HAS cerebral palsy, he is not a spastic. What you have is not what you are, just part of what makes you, you. Speech matters. My children are not Haitian, they came from Haiti. They have black skin but that is not all they are. Just as you cannot take one piece of a puzzle and call it the whole, you cannot take one part of a person and call it the whole.

  3. In some parts of Africa they believe that a person’s body parts magically bring good luck. In order to do that, some are murdered.
Another sign some humans are the complete opposite of this wonderful couple.

  4. I’ve read blogs about this family when I was first learning about what albinism was! It’s pretty rare to see natural blonde hair in minorities like the Asian community! I will say that this is a special need that I’m open to as soon as I’m old enough to adopt from China!

  5. This isn’t a hate question just genuine curiosity, why do many Americans adopt kids from other countries when sooo many babies here in the U.S need a loving family..?
