I was just talking about some of this stuff with my mom.
Everything men find unattractive in a woman actually helps and gives her some type of power and agency or strength.
Women who are strong (both physically and mentally) can endure and support themselves in hard times
Women who don’t shave have lower risk of STD’s and other vaginal problems
Women who go to college or pursue higher paying jobs have power
Women who don’t care about beauty standards or how may even be Butch or gnc free up mental space for them to focus on things that actively enrich their lives etc
But the qualities in women do find attractive all harm women!
High heals prevent you from running when someone try’s to attack you at a assault you
Tight clothing makes you more focus on how you appear then actively doing what the task at hand is ie at work college
Shaving leaves cuts and scars on skin and leaves with higher risk of STD’s
etc etc
I can go all day about this topic I’m really passionate about discussing beauty and talking about with my mom and little sister!
Every time my sister asks why I wear “boy clothes” I tell her it makes me feel comfortable
Every time she asks me why I don’t wear makeup i tell her that my face is fine just the way it is!
I hope I can subtly pass on these messages to her so she doesn’t feel the need to change!

Also one of my favourite topics ( i didnt vote for the drag queen article cause i assumed it would be about trans stuff again and im kinda fed up and want other radfem issue get some focus again).
