When traveling make sure to be prepared properly when you go to to travel to hotels for big major events, such as Universal, International, National, Mini Nationals and State Pageants; including regional, and preliminary pageants. Never assume that makeup artist and Hairstylist will do your hair free at all. Make appointments to get your hair done by professionals hair stylist and make up artist for those events. Prepare wigs and extensions before applying them the day before the pageant. Because the hair will look freshly done on stage, when going before the judges. Bring products to stay fresh and clean in the ballrooms especially during the pandemic, even more so now then ever. Protect your health by bringing face mask and hand sanitizer wipes to wipe your hands and get the germs of you and also your phones. Last but not least pack your hair curlers, flat irons, steamers and everything you made need to be prepared for modeling on stage and for talents and so forth. Be confident and sane. Spend that extra cash to get makeup, products for your hair, soap, toothbrush, combs and brushes, toothpaste, floss, deodorant, body oils, lotions, and bath oils and things you need to clean yourself up before going on stage. Of course you do not want the judges to smell you either. So don’t just look good in your clothes, but smell good in them too. If you can not book an appointment with the Hairstylist and makeup artist. Learn to master doing your hair and makeup yourself.
