  1. It is wild to me that the contestants are made to do 150 hours in the gym but only 12 sessions of therapy over the course of the program. The progress they could make by spending even half as much time in therapy as they they do in the gym would work wonders. It could give so much more meaningful, lifelong confidence and happiness than any amount of brow lifts or veneers ever could.

  2. Something I just realised, if the family are invited to come see the woman who didn’t get into the pageant, surely they know before her that she’s lost? If they’re the only ones invited. And to get them there they need to know at least a few days in advance, right?

  3. Dore – "I'm hoping that going through this program will help me to be more accepting of my situation"
Lux – "They're just going to give you a brow lift and send you on your way"

  4. OMG I use to watch the Swan on the living channel on sky all the time. (I am so showing my age remembering living channel 😂) I didn't realise until now how extreme this show was!

  5. This is the last season of The Swan, right? Would be interesting to see a "Where are they now?" for the specialists (dentist, surgeons, therapist, etc.) as well!!! I hope this episode wasn't scaring you too much before your surgery, by the way!

  6. for the life of me, ill never understand why people want to have kids so badly… i know this sounds terrible but i just dont get it at all. i feel like it changes your life for ever and you have to make so many sacrifices and lose out on so much just to provide for them. how does that sound desirable to humans? im a bad and terrible person for having this POV, i know.

  7. The only lesson of The Swan is that everyone looks like hot garbage in those hateful early 2000s ovular glasses. Just take them off girl; boom, you're better!

  8. It's funny and unsurprising just how I am able to guess right the girl that is picked to enter the Swan Pageant next. 🦢 Every week for those full two seasons.

  9. Dore's husband's reaction to her transformation eve me the CREEPS. Like hello, are you home? I got some weird feeling that he like didn't want her to think she's "all that" but he should be the first person to tell her she is!

  10. If you don't have an angular face it isn't feminine. Or masculine. It's not even a face; it's just an amorphous blob on your shoulders.

  11. I can't believe the swan is coming to an end, I'm going to miss "The SWAN girls!" 😭
I'm sad they cut all of that lovely hair! 🥺 I used to have hair past my bum, and then for the first time in my life in the 11th grade I decided it was time to chop it, and got a bob cut 🤯 I regret it still to this day (I'm 35 now), I've never had my hair long like that ever again. Once I turned 30 my hair stopped growing as fast as it used to. Then at 33 I gave birth to my son, and my hair hasn't been the same since 😭 it's thinner and grows even slower! I envy people with long, thick, lucious hair lol
Her hair does look beautiful still, but I'm still sad they cut it 😅

  12. I disagree with the people sending birth announcements. She will feel the pain, whether they send them or not. But if they don’t send it she will feel excluded, compounding the pain.

  13. Sending good wishes for your upcoming surgery, Luxeria!

I laughed when you mentioned an ochre couch on one of your Queer Eye videos because I actually had an ochre couch in the early 2000s. I think Amanda’s dress is more chartreuse than ochre, though.

  14. Surely, u should always have pre-op bloods done… to check blood levels & also to be typed & crossed incase u need to have a transfusion of any blood products.
