So I'm just going to go on record and say Miss USA will win the 69th edition of Miss Universe.
Let's not forget that above everything else, MUO IMG is a BUSINESS!
My points.
1. The winner of the 69th edition of Miss Universe will have her reign shortned because Miss Universe 2021 is already scheduled for December of 2021. Furthermore, with travel restrictions still in place for many countries; that will affect the winner's ability to travel freely throughout the world. e.g. Zozi has had many events and travel canceled and instead events were done virtually. It wouldn't be beneficial to crown another woman to have her duties be limited by covid restrictions again. Her reign would be similar to that of Zozi. So having Miss USA as the winner would give the organization enough time to prep and prepare for 2021 MU in December while hoping that restrictions will be lifted as more people become vaccinated.
2. Miss USA is under new leadership and having Miss USA as the winner of Miss Universe will obviously bring attention to the Miss USA organization and garner interest interms of endorsement, advertisers and press.
3. It wouldn't necessarily favor any winner to only hold the title for 7 months (granted its been done before, PR in 2006), so ideally having USA as the winner will smooth over that transition making it appear seamless.

Holy smokes! Miss Jamaica has raised the bar yet again! Her competition have to bring their A game to compete with her. She just did another photo shoot! I have it on replay on Instagram. Oh my friggin god she is a GODDESS and a Barbie doll in human form. They also have videos of her practicing her walk in a gown and doing a dance intro. She is killing it!
