Hmm ..” I thought it would never get picked up , because there was nothing like it” hmm it was FIRST a Spanish soap opera ( Colombia ) on Spanish TV . “ Betty la fea” the most successful soap opera ever , as far as Guinness World book of records… with 28 adaptions all over the world . Ugly Betty being only one , so no it was NOT ORIGINAL!
