my biggest advice is
dont be afraid to ask questions!
it's ok if you've never done a pageant before. MTC was my first pageant, and now I'm Miss Teenage BC so anything is possible.
the more you want to have fun the easier it will be for you to get on stage. One thing that also really helped me was for finals, I asked my friends to come watch and I think I invited a total of 10 people. They cheered me on and gave me a lot of confidence. for the interview, answer from the heart, and be genuine, and let the judges get to know you and who you are.
