I love that they are being mature people. Shit in life happens and they are finding the positivity in it. They are also not putting the child in the middle of it. They are celebrating her, and not making her the reason they were mad at each other. Forgiveness is beautiful and friendship can be a great thing when something more doesn’t work out. It may take time, but at least they are trying to look at the good that came out of the bad. It’s mature of him that he’s letting her into his life as a friend and not shoving his ex away like it normally happens.
