I sort of like Mario’s question because it gave me “Trump era Final Question” vibes. Honestly, I’m so sick and tired of hearing the same and similar questions every year since IMG owned MU.

Nicaragua and Thailand were the best in this round but their answers were just fine, not exactly outstanding. Nicaragua's answer was quite simpe but straight to the point. Thailand's delivered fluently but her answer was robotic and generic. Australia was meh but at least she was answering the question. Puerto Rico was way too nervous and you can clearly see her shakiness (but her content was fine). Colombia was very calm but she did not answer the question at all.

Nicaragua has the best answer.
In this round, I suspect the rankings as follows:
1. Thailand – hands down the best answer in the top 5.
2. Nicaragua
3. Australia – Her answer was ok, she got into the top 3 almost by default because she did not tried to turn the question around like Colombia or got really nervous like Puerto Rico.
4. Colombia – she turned the question around so she could draw attention that she's a mother.
5. Puerto Rico – content was fine…but the delivery was what sunk her. She was visibly nervous and she incorporated the contents of a well known response delivered by a previous MU winner. I thought maybe overall impression still will carry her through…but I guess not.
Australia is my favorite.She answered the question with power and conviction. She's also simple but elegant❤❤

2023 Q&A round was not as good as previous years.
@miss-universe you need a better translator; one that’s more precise and accurate in their interpretation of the answer. Every year I think to say something and never do. 😅 you will prob not get this message but maybe you will …

First of all , for contestants needing a translator, answer the question in 30 seconds and then translated….pausing in between translation is not fair to other contestants.
I cannot blame their answers having no impact and not long-lasting to remember as the questions were also lame. 2018 has the best Top 5 still followed by 2022 and 2019. Those Top 5 are remarkable.

Do they all get the same training because I’m curious about the discrepancy on like levels of potential from the participants. It feels very chosen to me.

Thailand had the best answer of the Top 5 entering the Top 3 , but was under too much pressure during the final 2 and stumbled.
