Growing up many queer children, particularly those assigned male at birth, are bullied for their femininity. The story telling within this presentation demonstrates the growth from the fear of a child to the vibrant and joyful expression of a fully formed queer adult. Big thanks to Matt Brown and Dallas McKinney of Just Two Guys Productions for playing my Ruffle Monsters, representing the bath towels and bed sheets that became the gowns and and flowing locks of our childhood make believe.
