As a high school sophomore who is currently in AP Biology, I have a question about how the video says African descent is more likely to get keloid than other races.
My teacher told me that race and illness/medicines are not the same thing and are not directly related to each other bc
1) most illnesses is likely the result of geographical reasons
2) human variation is continuous so the illness can not be categorized by boxes of the race but time
3) human biological variation involves many traits that are genetically independent instead of solely depending on skin color
4) genetic variation within the so-called race is much greater than the aviation among them. for example, two white men, or Asian men, can have more genetic differences than a black/white man.
5) race, a socially constructed concept, are not able to be found/classified
I'm in no way saying you are wrong, I just want to learn why (if they do at all) the claim in your video contradicts what I learned in class.

We live in a time where her keloids would actually help her modeling career because it stands out just have to get noticed by the right people
I just love how Dr. Lee is alway so nice and tries her best to make the patient as confortable as possible during the surgery
Poor kid. I truly understand she has to get the keloid exercised out her ears with plastic surgery which is not covered thru insurance unfortunately in most cases. Then to be sure the cells don't grow back you need a radiologist to kill the cells thru radiation treatments it kills the cells so the keloid don't grow back that part should be covered thru insurance. Extremely affected with them not growing back. 1. see your dermatologist first then get a referral for a plastic surgeon to remove them because they will multiply radiologist is a game changer. When piercing ears try a tattoo polar they use needles never go to a place that use hole puncher devices they cause ear trauma that may cause keloid especially in people of color. No cheap earring places like Claires etc. In other words do your research I did the results was excellent. Beautiful girl btw a lil strong headed. 😆
