  1. The costume which the contestants were wearing were not lehengas but they were the traditional punjabi 2 piece gowns which is also the national costume of Pakistan and the Indian state punjab!! Also the dress is consist of multiple heavy jewellery for elegance!!

  2. Why do you think Miss World did not air in any Philippine TV networks in response to the recent shutdown of CNN Philippines? Was it Philippines a MU country or advertisers fear of potential return of investment loss due to "boring show format" despite India gave a great production?

  3. I’m not a watcher of Miss World at all, but i agree, Meghan didn’t have any ill intentions when she placed her hand on one of the contestant’s hair. But it’s true, there are live variety shows in the Philippines that the hosts put their hands on someone or contestants and ask about money. 2 very bad Filipino habits. Not cute. 🇺🇸🇵🇭

  4. Thank you for noticing Estonia and her dress! Sat there in the second row I loved the show but it was looooooong. But what i wanted to say is that i feel that the question for Americas was about “working women” and none of them really answered the essence of the question and they could have talked abt paygap and the angle of “the dream you can have it all as a woman career and work or the other angle that actually cannot have it all” etc. Brazil said inequality but i felt that was too vague. for Europe the menstrual hi-gene is the main advocacy and these charities they need to work with so that they both are kind of obliged to talk about same thing, thats what they where trained to say that. Even I had a chance to take the main charity products to the slums during int womens day. Thats why they both answered that.

  5. I observed the final Q answers given by the winners of both Miss Universe & Miss World are using factual information (data) in their answers. MU mentioned through Mary Wollstonecraft advocacy for women's employment, women has created change (history) since 1870.
MW mentioned her concern with @ 250 millions of the children worlwide unable to access proper education.
Basically they use numbers (data) on thrir answers and i think it's a good strategy

  6. Krystyna was really nice to everyone also during Miss CZE and they felt she could be the winner not just only Miss CZE but also the world. She s a like a human barbie doll, I love her charakter and I am really proud that we have another winner. I`m watching beauty paegents for a long time and beause of her journey I saw, I wasnt suprised when they annouced her as a new queen. She will do her best. I am sure about it. Thank you for your videos. I am fan. You do great job. Wish you the best. Greetings from CZE.

  7. Dani, have you or any other pageant guru ever predicted the Ms. World winners? Every year, this pageant seems to be mystifying. We see candidates after candidates; they look, sound, and carry the poise of a beauty queen and are left wanting. Just Curious!

  8. Those complaining about Meagan's touching of Botwana's wig are projecting. They are trying to fault Meagan for Botswana not winning which is unfair to Meagan for what was intended as a kind gesture. Even though I had Botswana in my top 2 leading up to the competition, that changed after her Shark Tank speech because I felt her delivery was too animated. Just look at the judges' expressions while she spoke; I had the same expression. I was like. "Oh no, why is she speaking like that." The winner and 1st runner-up came across as the most natural and sincere in their delivery.

  9. Miss world is a very tough pageant to win you gotta be classy and super intelligent
Looking at miss universe you know the pageant is so trashy and full of favouritism

  10. Hi Dani 👋,

I personally have to admit that it felt so refreshing to watch Miss World after 2 years!

I felt as if Miss World redeemed itself this year in terms of stage production, from the opening segment, to the contestants’ introductions, to the crowning moment.

Just like a lot of people, I also had my personal favorite contestants. Imagine how much of a pleasant surprise it was for me to see them all advance as the top 4 finalists. At that point, I thought they all had a really strong chance of winning Miss World. But of course, it was Krystyna Pyszková from the Czech Republic who eventually stood out as the most suitable choice that night, especially after her pitch to the panel of India’s Shark Tank.

If there’s one thing I’m glad Miss World has brought back after a few years, it’s the contestants singing “Light the Passion, Share the Dream” 🎶 right after the winner’s coronation. (This reminds me of the Disney Princesses singing “If You Can Dream”. 🎶👸)

Sending you lots of love!!! ❤️❤️❤️🤗

  11. I hate when people say the winner looks like the previous winner… No, she doesn't. Yes, she's blonde with blue eyes (Actually, I think Krystyna's eyes are not blue but green/grayish) but they look nothing alike!??! Their hair isn't even the same shade of blonde, their face is different, their eyes are different… They do not look alike. People just always say this about blondes. But when 10 brunettes are crowned back to back to back to back… Almost no one says they look like each other.

  12. Miss Czech Republic's answer felt sincere and personal. She has enough of a portfolio of evidence for her answer. Deserving winner. English is not her first language and she still gave a powerhouse answer

  13. Miss Martinique who competed in Miss France 2023 really stood out that year with her performance. I wish that she can be able to compete in Miss Universe, but Martinique doesn't hold any franchise rights to Miss Universe.

  14. In the black women community touching a black person's hair is considered disrespectful and a violation of personal space and when a person of a different race touches a black person's hair it is sometimes considered to be racism and I feel as though the reason the hair touching moment caused so much chaos online is due to the cultural difference and perspective on that act.

  15. hold on… the healthcare issue with pain tolerance is a SYSTEMIC issue for BLACK WOMEN in particular. and probably other woman of colour as well, but DEFINITELY not ALL women.

  16. Hi Dani, just want to add a short note on something you mentioned about the crowning moment:

It is Miss World’s tradition to not do the “Top-2-holding-hand” thing because Eric Morley (the late founder of the pageant and the spouse of Julia Morley) wanted to give proper recognition to the first runner-up (in Miss Universe the first runner-up might be ignored by the cameramen once the winner is revealed)

I think the last time they did the “Top-2-holding-hand” thing was back in 2004, and before that it would be traced back to 1950s (if they had ever done that previously)

  17. Miss worlds always look for something similar in looks and speaking skills. Idk how they match both of those things perfectly, but a Miss world is always very loving and caring looking personality with great communication skills

  18. Indian clothes are so diverse. Although you are right that mainly Lehanga & Saree are mostly highlighted but even Saree has 100s of variants here. Ghaghra, Salwar Kameez, Suits etc(varieties within them ) are other popular dresses. But there's a lot more like in Northeastern part of India we have Innaphi, Phanek , Li, khasi , chemise , Rigani-rosa – rikutu , Muga, mekhela Chador etc etc

In short there's so much diversity in clothing that we can't even remember. But yes majorly ppl identify India with Saree, lehanga, salwar kamiz , suit etc You can feel free ! ❤ from India !

  19. Hii Demi the Indian dress that they wore is Sharara that was introduced during the time when India faced Islamic invasions and This was created when Islamic culture started intermingling with our Indian culture and Demi you should understand that there is a reason behind why Sushmita Sen said that She came from the land where Love is the essence of Life at Miss Universe Stage in the year 1994 because we know how to live when there are people from so many different cultures and religions and languages and our outfits are proving it
