  1. i think it’s nice you went to her. not all the tips will stick but neither would all the tips from brown girl. it’s nice you have this makeup artist a shot. i hope you find what works for you ❤

  2. For everyone who’s saying that the colors don’t match her: it’s very hard to find makeup that suits brown skin especially foundation yeah the makeup industry sucks if you have dark skin

  3. Does she know you're Indian? Indian people have a yellow undertone and our foundations need a yellow undertone otherwise we look grey and dead or orange/red. Never seen a brown girl getting contoured with that white powder. Girl, dark pink blush for dark skin is awesome lol. Your eye make up and eyebrows look beautiful though.

  4. Girl u know she don’t know what she doing when she says makeup changes to PH level no it doesn’t it’s literally not possible it just warns the pigments up that we ALREADY THERE JUST NOT MIXED or it’s colour theory

  5. I think the makeup looks great! Love that fuscia color on you. That’s one of my personal favorite lip colors for myself and it really pops on you too. I’m more lighter skinned but I have olive tones that can make it tricky for me to find makeup colors that work for me. I find that fuchsia, cherry reds, or nude mauve shades work really well on the lips and metallic, pastel, or bright (even neon) shades look really good on my eyes. I’m a Bright Winter so while I can pull off some dark makeup it’s not necessarily what makes me shine. Same with too muted or too peachy of shades, they can really wash me out or give concealer lips. Not sure if you are a also a bright winter but it looks like she was using similar makeup colors and styles that I use for myself. Figuring out my color season was a game changer for me both with makeup and clothing choices. Now I tend to more naturally pick options that work better me than I did previously💖

  6. Ughhh nooo no nooooo please get a brown/black girl to do your makeup. That does NOT look good on you, and the fact that she said you shouldn’t wear pink blush…ummm 👀🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩run awayyyyy from her quickly!!! Pink, reds, purples, oranges ALL look beautiful on brown girls!

  7. The ph makeup comment jist isnt true. I hate that people are still saying and believing this. Your natural, usual make up is much better than what she did. She ised cool colors on your eyes when she used have used warmer tones to balance with your own undertones. Just my opinion. I say keep what you normally do. Add a little warmer brown eye shadow to your eyes, maybe pull your blush up into uour eye look, and youre perfect.
