We wanted to thank everyone that was involved our Prom & Pageant Fashion Show. Fabulous vendors like Cake Hair Salon, The Salt Lake Association of Fashion Designers, Mini’s Cupcakes, Miss Utah USA, Paul Mitchell Hair School, DC Photos, Miss Utah Continental Pageant, The Makeup Rack and Dave Tucker Photography were all in attendance! Thank you to all of them for making this event possible. We couldn’t have done it without you! We also had some special guests at the show: the beautiful Miss Utah USA Kendyl Bell, Miss Washington USA Christina Clarke, Miss Utah Teen USA Keilara McCormick all made appearances at the Miss Utah USA booth.
Our Prom section of the fashion show was a unique opportunity for Ypsilon Girls. Ypsilon chose one girl to represent each high school in the area. She attended workshops leading up to the fashion show to prepare for the runway. We were so pleased with these girls; they did a fantastic job modeling in our Prom section of our show! Many of these girls had never modeled before and they did a fantastic job! Thank you, ladies! (Hair and Makeup were provided by the talented students at the Paul Mitchell Hair School.)
Each of the models chosen for the Pageant part of the show had experience with Pageants. We were lucky enough to open the show with Miss Utah Danica Olsen wearing a Sherri Hill gown. These talented models made theses dresses look absolutely gorgeous on stage. The flowing chiffon fabrics and sparkling accents caught the audience’s eye. Hair for this portion of the show was done by the excellent staff at Cake Hair Salon. They did a fantastic job with a mixture of short bobs, elegant up-dos and loose curls.
