A couple months ago I was at the mall on the phone, walking slow bc I had an injured foot. I wasn’t in anyone’s way, I was walking on the side of the mall corridor. This young “woman” rudely told me to move, I respond “don’t be rude, I have an injured foot” she then proceeded to get up in my face and yell as loud as she could “Bitch! I don’t give a fuck!!!”. I just laughed at the absurdity of it all. Of course I live in Sacramento. 🙄

Vaccines work by preventing the virus from making you as sick as you normally would. It’s why you can get some symptoms of illness after getting the vaccine. It’s normal. Vaccines are meant to build up the immune system’s response to said virus, it wont stop you from getting the virus but it can stop you from getting extremely sick and then your body’s white blood cells will remember that specific virus for years and prevent it from severely affecting your body. The news reports were over exaggerated with the vaccine’s effectiveness, but them correcting it later and saying that it doesn’t stop you from getting infected what actually true. You still get infected but if enough people get the vaccine then the virus doesn’t have enough body’s to reproduce in and spread. I really wish people would learn about vaccines before shitting on them. We don’t have polio or smallpox anymore BECAUSE of vaccines.
